Turkish Recipes | Braised Meat Recipe | Roasted Meat Recipe | How to cook Beef | Recette de Boeuf Ingredients 750 gr (1.6 lb) of beef 1 onions (finely chopped 3 tbs. of vegetable oil Half a teaspoon of black pepper 2 teaspoon of salt 2 teaspoon of thyme Preparation Wash and chop the meat in to cubes. Cook the meat in a pot on low heat, till it releases the juice. That would take 10-15 minutes. Add 2 finely chopped onions, keep cooking with the lid on, until it runs out of the juice. Note: If your meat still didn't get softer but it run out of juice, you can add some water to help it keep cooking. In the video we didn't need to add extra water, since the meat was very soft already. When it is cooked, add the oil, black pepper and salt. Note: You don't need to add veg. oil if the meat already has some fat on it, don't forget to add the salt only at the end, if you add salt earlier, that would get your meat harder then you want it to be! Serve immediately! Bon Appetit!
